Sub Agent (Highways)
Site Location - M1 (between Mansfield and Warsop)
IR35 - outside
Day Rate - 395
Night rate - 468.75
Contract duration - 6 months +
A Sub Agent is required to manage Site Team and work closely with the Site Agent and all delivery team members.
The position will be more of an assurance and management role of the self delivery aspect of the project, therefore self-delivery management experience is essential, along with a keen eye on quality and finishing.
You will also support in:
- Managing all Compound and Office needs working closely with the Storeman
- Ensuring that site surveys and records are provided as required
- Managing the on site co-ordination of activities
- Working with the Supervisors and suppliers to developing and review safe systems of work
- Ensuring compliance with safe systems of work
- Ensuring all works comply with highways and project specification and drawings
- Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with approved ITP
- Carrying out quality assurance inspections and completing ITP check sheets
- Ensuring all activities on site are recorded through daily diaries, production control schedules and photographs
- Update delivery schedules on a weekly basis with the Project Manager
- Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries relating to the design team
- If required Deliver workforce briefings
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of self-delivery management and finishing experience for handover. Experience of constructing on the highspeed network is also essential.
Ideally, you will also hold all the following competencies: CSCS, SMSTS, Highways Passport, Safety Critical Medical, CAT4 HSG47 Avoiding dangers from underground services.
