This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the UK's leaders in their sector as the HR Manager.

Managing the HR Department and working alongside managers, you will act as an ambassador for the Company's Values, ensuring that we attract, employ, train, and retain the best people.

The ideal candidate:

• You are an experienced HR professional with proven ability to manage the employee life cycle, preferably in a medium sized organisation.• You will have experience of managing a small team, where you have been a team player and have led by professional example, a trait that you also fostered in others.• You will need to be organised, solution focused, with a ‘can do’ approach.• Confident in decision making, you will possess excellent employment law knowledge, both current and progressive. Whilst assuming responsibility for complex employee relation matters, you will be able to evidence the ability to communicate advice to others in a way that can be easily put into practice.• You will be proficient at developing HR policies and procedures and will have experience off collating, understanding, and analysing people data. Furthermore, you will have the ability to create initiatives that will have a positive impact, and the influence to ensure that they are put into practice across departments.• Strong technical skills and experience of working with a HR & Payroll system is essential, to resolve issues and continue to streamline procedures. Experience of working with People XD software will be a bonus.• You will be approachable, diplomatic, and inquisitive, with strong integrity.• You will be CIPD level 5 qualified or above.This is an office-based role.

Hours of Work:

Working 39 hours per week over 5 days a week, this role will be predominately Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:30pm), with the very occasional need to work at the weekend.
