Are you an experienced Clinical Lead with a passion for palliative care? We're on the hunt for an Inpatient Unit Clinical Lead to join a dedicated team in a 13-bedded Hospice. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those with life-limiting conditions, whilst working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This role offers an impressive salary of up to 60,000 per year, alongside a range of benefits designed to support and develop our staff. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical practice and the continuous improvement of our Inpatient (IPU) Service.

Our client is a well-established Hospice, committed to supporting those with life-limiting conditions in the communities of Merton and Sutton. Around 80% of their patients are cared for in their homes by a dedicated Community Team, and they also offer Psychological and Wellbeing support to the community. They pride themselves on their collaborative and inclusive team, where every voice is valued and heard.

As the Clinical Lead, you'll be:

  • Leading the development of best clinical practice within the IPU service
  • Keeping up-to-date with changing practice and innovation within specialist palliative care
  • Fostering excellent inter-disciplinary communication
  • Demonstrating clinical expertise and leading the Inpatient team to provide the highest standard of nursing care
  • Creating a supportive, open and positive environment for staff, encouraging initiative and facilitating evidence and research-based practice

The ideal Clinical Lead will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin. You'll be an experienced clinical practitioner with a passion for palliative care. You'll have strong leadership skills and a commitment to developing clinical practice and improving patient services.
