They are looking for a Mechanical/Field Technician to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis.The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

Excellent hands-on engineering skills
Have a Mechanical background and a relevant qualification
Experienced with routine servicing, maintenance, testing and assembly of mechanical systems and electromechanical equipment
Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Team player
Be flexible to travel 1 or 2 days a week, or as required
Holds a full UK Driving Licence

The Mechanical Technician role will involve:

Assembly, testing, maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems and electromechanical equipment
Some travel to customer sites to deliver and service equipment and machinery
Routine maintenance and repair on a variety of components and equipment
Working to procedures and instructions
Testing and fault-finding
Repair and calibration
Working both independently and in a team
Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
