Interim Payroll Officer - Wakefield

Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for a new opportunity in Wakefield? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team on a interim basis as a Payroll Officer. If you have a strong background in payroll processing, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, tax details, and other relevant data
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and taxes
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed, providing insights into payroll metrics and trends

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes
  • Familiarity with relevant payroll software and a good understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure error-free payroll processing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.
