Children Contact Worker - Weekend Supervisor
Location: Workington
Hours: Part-time, Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Children Contact Worker - Weekend Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a young person who is currently out of education, providing support, and engaging him in outdoor and gardening activities throughout the weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany the young person to outdoor and gardening activities on weekends.
- Provide supervision and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of the individual.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to his personal growth and development.
- Utilise your strong personality to establish rapport and build trust with the young individual.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development principles.
- Implement safeguarding measures to protect the welfare of the individual at all times.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting activities, progress, and any concerns observed during interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with adolescents, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development theories.
- Empathetic and patient nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish boundaries while maintaining a supportive relationship.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
