Embryology Scientist
Description:
- Perform murine in vitro fertilization and sperm analysis
- Cryopreservation of mouse sperms and/or embryos
- Prepare laboratory reagents and handle cryopreserved biospecimens
- Collect, harvest, and culture of murine germplasm
- Necropsy and/or dissection microsurgery
- Assist with animal surgeries and with pre- and post-surgical care
- Assist with maintaining inventory and supplies for the operations of the laboratory to include ordering of lab supplies, tracking shipments, and logging receipts
- Data entry, analysis and report of results

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biology or life sciences
Experience with murine handling
Experience with techniques associated with marine IVF, cryopreservation and cryo recovery
Be familiar with the safe handling and storage of cryopreserved biospecimens
Surgical embryo transfer via oviduct and/or uterine is a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
