My client are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing finance team. As Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for supporting the UK payables processes along with the AP Team, improving and developing internal processes and managing queries.

Client Details

The company is a renowned business within the Architecture industry with a global workforce, renowned for their events spaces. Situated in Wandsworth where they manage their UK projects.

This based from their UK office in Wandsworth, South West London and is a hybrid role with 6 work from home days, per month.

Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the processing of invoices and payments.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment issues.
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by AP Manager or Financial Controller

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in Architecture or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.

Job Offer

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will be entitled to the competitive salary of £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:

  • Annual Leave of 25 days, plus an extra 3 free days over Christmas.
