Administrator

My client is an established and growing global organisation that works within the electronics distribution sector working with clients within the Defence, Aerospace, Automotive and Medical sectors. Employing nearly 200 people worldwide and with a turnover of £125million, this is truly an exciting time to be part of this dynamic company.

They are at the forefront of quality and service-driven component distribution, setting the standards now and anticipating future trends to ensure their services are aligned to their customers’ business.

This new position of customer service administrator is being created to support a team of 13 customer service executives. There is a lot of order loading that isn’t being done quickly enough and there is a need for an administrator to carry out this workload. With lots of training opportunities there is plenty of scope for development in the future.

Duties:

  • Loading orders accurately and efficiently onto the company system
  • General office administration including filing, answering phones and responding to emails
  • Working within a close knit team to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Progressing supplier orders
  • Project support
  • Data Management and cleansing
  • Report generation

Personal attributes:

  • Experience of general office administration tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with one or more teams
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently
  • Manage a large workload and be able to prioritise
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities
  • 1-2 years office admin experience as a minimum
