Description
- Manage and execute all aspects of payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and internal policies.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and year-end reports.
- Handle payroll queries effectively and efficiently.
- Manage payroll documentation and data entry with high accuracy.
- Work closely with the HR team to reconcile any discrepancies.
- Participate in payroll system updates and improvements.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices and regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or similar fields.
- Experience working in a Not-For- Profit organisation is desirable but not essential
