Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installers of high-end acoustic blinds, curtains and window shadings into commercial construction and refurbishment projects.
They have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Assistant to join the business on a permanent basis. The core of this role will be to support the project managers to; organise, co-ordinate and manage delivery of their projects collectively.
Project Assistant
The Project Assistant will manage the flow and delivery of multiple activities across projects. Their work provides a valuable link between internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will deliver excellent customer service with the highest attention to detail. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment and pride yourself in being organised, methodical and analytical.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of client’s document management systems.
- Tracking projects and managing documentation processes – internal and external
- Monitoring and processing client reports and issues
- Ensuring correct templates have been used when preparing client deliverables
- Creation of as built drawings in Bluebeam
- Preparing and monitoring “handover” documentation
- Supporting the delivery team – ensuring requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently
- Action change orders, costs and quotations
- Completion of Prequalification Questionnaires
- Assisting Lead Project Assistant as required
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Document management and control
- Methodical with a keen eye to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritise
- Great interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator
- Epicor, Bluebeam & Sharepoint an advantage but not essential
